South Pacific Night!

G'day! We at Morris Murdock Travel make it a goal to help our clients, current and future, learn more about destinations from around the globe! Nothing is more thrilling than to help a customer plan and take the vacation of their dreams!

So in order to help increase awareness of the limitless travel options available to our clients, we regularly plan special events that are educational in nature. These events are free to the public and can cover topics such as cruises, guided tours, Disney vacations, business travel tips, and much more. Not only do we work hard to make these events as instructional as possible, we also make sure they are fun for you and your family! Plus, we try to throw in a dessert or snack that fits the area of the world that we might be talking about. One of our latest events was what we called "South Pacific Night." The event was held on March 6th, 2008 at the Matilda's restaurant located near Jordan Commons in Sandy, Utah. The event was sponsored by Morris Murdock Travel in conjunction with Trafalgar Tours and what an event it was! Guests were privy to a wealth of information provided by Australia and New Zealand experts Trafalgar's Larry Winters and Jeff Adam, VP of Sales for AAT Kings. Jeff held the crowd spellbound with his beautiful presentations and videos about Australia's travel options.

After the incredible presentation guests were invited to partake in one of Matilda's fabulous Australian desserts! It was truly an educational and inspirational night for all who attended!

Morris Murdock Celebrates 50th With 12th Annual Travel Expo

To celebrate our 50th year in business, we at Morris Murdock Travel decided to throw a huge party and all of Utah was invited!

On January 25 & 26, 2008 we held our 12 Annual Morris Murdock Travel Show at the South Towne Expo center in Salt Lake City! And what a huge success it was! The show had over 3,400 attendees and 700 VIP customers! With over 60 vendors on-site from around the world, visitors to the show were thrilled to find information on the vacations of their dreams! In fact, over the two days of the show we had over $1.4 million in sales!

But guests did more than just book travel, they had the opportunity to learn about different vacation options through our free seminars and hourly prize giveaways!

The show was full of special guests like LaVell Edwards, Thurl Bailey, and Good Things Utah! We even had show-stopping entertainment from Hula dancers, the Radio Disney Street Dancers, and even a live Mariachi band!
